The August book of the month will be The Casual Vacancy by J.K Rowling. I will post my review/reaction of the novel by the end of the August month.

I'm back!

Hi everyone,

I am back! It has been several years since I posted something...in fact, I haven't even posted anything book-related since I opened up this blog in 2013. I want to start posting reviews on books I am currently reading and I would love to do this regularly. I am planning on going into Library Science or its equivalent and this would be a good companion for my prospective career.

So plan on looking for something in the next couple weeks, I am finishing up my Summer 2015 semester of Spanish classes and it has been a ROUGH 8 weeks!

Welcome!

My name is Joseph Kern (or Joey) and I am an avid reader. I am 18 years old and I am about to enter college at Southwestern Illinois College in the Summer 2013 term at the beginning of June! I am looking forward to college and I cannot wait for the challenges and adventures! I have been an avid reader ever since I was young. I would always go to my school library and pick out 2 books at a time and read them quite quickly. When I got done with my book, I would have to take a test on a program called Accelerated Reader and I would always do decent on the tests (As, Bs, and some Cs, rarely Ds.) I would like to blog about the books I have read or currently reading. I am always looking for new books to read and I enjoy fiction, LGBT fiction, adventure, and classical books. I will have my first book review up in a couple of weeks or maybe later since I have to get through graduation from high school. Thanks, and have a nice week.
